Director of Professional Services
As the Director of Professional Services at Celonis, you will lead the strategy, growth, and delivery excellence of our Services practice. This role involves managing a sub-regional portfolio of customers and overseeing a high-performing team of over 10 Consultants and Project Managers. You will collaborate closely with Sales leadership and Value Engineering teams to define the Go-To-Market approach, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term adoption of the Celonis platform.
Key responsibilities include creating and executing strategic plans for the services practice, maintaining accountability for resource forecasting, and driving the development of delivery assets and solutions. You will serve as the Services Project Sponsor, performing ongoing health checks to govern scope, schedule, and budget, and act as the primary point of escalation for critical project issues. Additionally, you will own the scoping and selling of services deals, build strategic relationships with key partners, and recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse, high-performing team.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in Management Consulting, Professional Services, or SaaS Implementation, with relevant experience in the SaaS industry. Proven leadership experience of more than 5 years managing teams is essential, along with a track record of recruiting, motivating, developing, and retaining top talent. Experience in creating and executing business plans, managing a P&L or services forecast, and leading services sales cycles, including scoping, pricing, and contract negotiation for complex software implementations, is required. A deep understanding of managing professional services teams and software implementation methodologies, preferably in enterprise SaaS or adjacent consulting industries, is also necessary.
Celonis offers a competitive base salary range of $173,000 to $204,000 USD for this role in New York, based on a full-time schedule. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus/commission, equity, and benefits such as health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
