Senior Applied Value Engineer - UKI Oil & Gas
As a Senior Applied Value Engineer at Celonis, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven business transformations for our clients in the UK and Ireland's Oil & Gas sector. Collaborating closely with our sales teams, you will be instrumental in guiding customers through their entire value journey, from initial engagement to long-term adoption and expansion of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team at the forefront of process mining technology, contributing to significant advancements in operational efficiency and business performance.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and framing value opportunities by translating customers' strategic priorities into impactful Celonis use cases. You will build compelling demos and business cases, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to secure new clients. Additionally, you will conduct value assessments or proof-of-value projects, effectively communicating the value potential and strategic roadmap to C-level executives.
To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of six years of experience in technical pre-sales, including defining AI roadmaps, building compelling ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions. A strong understanding of generative AI techniques, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning, is essential. Proficiency in Python and common machine learning libraries, as well as data engineering tools and technologies, is required. Excellent presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders, including executives, are also necessary. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred.
