Director of Insights
The Director of Insights at MrBeast will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's audience narrative, positioning MrBeast as a leading voice in creator-led marketing. This position involves collaborating closely with the Sales team to translate complex first-party data into compelling narratives that resonate with partners and drive business growth. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, data analysis, and storytelling to effectively communicate insights and influence decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities include spearheading proprietary research initiatives, crafting category-defining perspectives, and representing MrBeast at major industry events to showcase thought leadership. The Director will also partner with Vice Presidents and Account Directors to develop bespoke research angles for strategic partnership pitches, ensuring that all insights are actionable and aligned with the company's objectives. A hands-on approach is essential, involving the creation of study protocols, report editing, and the development of pitch-ready presentations.
Candidates should possess over 15 years of experience in media research, brand marketing strategy, or executive-level insights within a publisher, platform, agency, or research firm. A substantial portfolio of published work, including original studies and industry analyses, is highly desirable. Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Nielsen, Comscore, and MRI-Simmons is expected, along with the ability to synthesize first-party and third-party data into persuasive commercial narratives. Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills are crucial, as is the willingness to engage in detailed work to bring studies and presentations to completion.
The compensation package includes a fixed annual salary ranging from $1,550,000 to $1,940,000, complemented by an employee equity plan grant, an annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Equity grants are subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
