Director of Cybersecurity
ALO is seeking an experienced Director of Cybersecurity to lead the cybersecurity team in protecting the organization's information systems, data, and networks from cyber threats. This role also oversees the Infrastructure teams, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical systems. As a Director, you will develop, implement, and maintain the company's cybersecurity and infrastructure strategy.
Key responsibilities include leading the Cybersecurity team to develop and maintain cyber defense strategies and policies, building and managing a security operations team responsible for threat detection and remediation, and managing the organization's cyber defense systems, including intrusion detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to integrate cybersecurity measures into business processes, conducting regular security assessments, staying updated on cybersecurity trends, providing leadership and guidance to the Cyber Defense team, managing relationships with external cybersecurity vendors, and ensuring the security, compliance, and governance of cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field, with at least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and PCI Compliance is required, along with experience in managing cybersecurity operations and teams. The candidate should possess the ability to analyze complex network issues, have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, and demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Professional cybersecurity certifications such as AWS, Azure, Google certifications, or CISSP are a plus.
The base salary range for this position is $210,000 to $280,000 per year, with actual salaries varying based on factors including location, experience, and performance. Additional rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and other progressive benefits.
