Director of Channel Sales (Hybrid)
The Director of Channel Sales at KnowBe4 is responsible for leading a team of Channel Sales representatives to drive sales efforts and exceed Net New Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets within a specified area. This hands-on role involves actively managing the team to build partnerships and grow new business through strong collaborations. The Director will align with the company's strategy for Channel Sales growth to execute strategic plans, expand the pipeline, and achieve revenue goals.
Key responsibilities include managing a team of Channel Sales representatives to execute revenue strategies and exceed KPIs and ARR targets. The role involves driving daily activities through team standups, analyzing sales statistics, and conducting pipeline reviews. Engaging directly with partners to build strategic relationships, assisting in partner sales engagements, and closing deals are also essential duties. Additionally, the Director will develop and guide partner activities to foster excellent relationships with new and existing partners, conduct weekly business reviews with senior leadership, validate sales pipeline health for accurate forecasting, and collaborate with various leaders to align business growth through partners.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-8 years of Channel sales experience and at least 5 years of people management experience overseeing 8 or more employees. Experience in IT Channel Sales, preferably in SaaS, is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education experience is desirable. The candidate should have experience collaborating with partner businesses and leading Channel sales teams, familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the IT, Security, Cloud Email Security, or Cybersecurity industry, and proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office, and web browsers. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management and organization abilities, strategic planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential. A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to provide productive feedback and coaching to sales leaders and teams are also important.
