Director of Channel Sales (Fluent in German) (Located in Berlin, Germany)
The Director of Channel Sales at KnowBe4 is responsible for leading a team of Channel Sales representatives to drive sales efforts and exceed Net New Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets within a specified area. This hands-on role involves actively managing the team to build strong partnerships and grow new business. The Director will align with the company's strategy for Channel Sales growth to execute strategic plans, expand the sales pipeline, and achieve revenue goals.
Key responsibilities include managing a team of Channel Sales representatives to execute revenue strategies and exceed KPIs and ARR targets. The Director will drive daily activities through team standups, analyze sales statistics and pipeline reviews, engage directly with partners to build strategic relationships, assist in partner sales engagements, and develop activities to foster excellent relationships with new and existing partners. Additionally, the role involves conducting weekly business reviews with senior leadership, validating sales pipeline health to ensure accurate forecasting, collaborating with various leaders to align business growth through partners, and managing area sales budget requests for events and trade shows.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-8 years of Channel Sales experience and at least 5 years of people management experience overseeing teams of 8 or more employees. Experience in IT Channel Sales, preferably within the SaaS industry, is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education experience is desirable. The candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management and organizational abilities, strategic planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with a positive, can-do attitude. Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office (Word and Excel), and web browsers is also expected.
