Director, Category Management
Xometry is seeking a Director of Category Management to lead and expand our CNC and Tooling business. This role involves defining strategic goals, executing tactical plans, and managing key business metrics within the category. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and profitability in alignment with Xometry's objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing category strategies, overseeing a portfolio of CNC and Tooling suppliers, and driving supplier development through strategic goal setting and performance reviews. The role also involves analyzing supplier and category performance, negotiating business terms to optimize cost structures, and serving as a senior escalation point for internal and external negotiations. Additionally, the Director will identify sales and operational opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to implement changes.
The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree, preferably in a business-related discipline, and have a deep understanding of the CNC and Tooling manufacturing space. A proven track record in developing stakeholder relationships, leading successful commercial negotiations, and working collaboratively across departments is essential. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides are required. Experience in eCommerce or management consulting is advantageous.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $112,000 to $145,000 annually, with additional annual bonuses based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
