DevOps Engineer (Engineering Productivity & Tooling)
As a DevOps Engineer at Point Digital Finance, Inc., you will be an integral part of the Platform Engineering team, focusing on enhancing engineering productivity and tooling. In this role, you will manage and scale AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure production systems. You will build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent, auditable, and scalable environments, and improve developer productivity by containerizing, standardizing, and simplifying development tools and workflows.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong experience with shell scripting (e.g., Bash) to automate infrastructure and development workflows is essential. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and hands-on experience managing infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation are required. Experience with AWS services, including compute (ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda), storage (S3), data services (RDS, Redis), and core governance and identity services (Control Tower, IAM), is also necessary.
