Devops Engineer 3
As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Black Duck Software, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our software development lifecycle. Black Duck is a leader in application security, offering solutions that help organizations build secure, high-quality software by identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in both proprietary and open-source code.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins. Your day-to-day tasks will include automating infrastructure deployment with Ansible and Terraform, managing Docker images, and ensuring the seamless operation of cloud-based and on-premises environments. Additionally, you will implement proactive monitoring and scaling strategies to maximize system performance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Unix systems administration, proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash, and a strong understanding of CI/CD automation tools. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is essential. Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible, as well as knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, is highly desirable.
