Data Engineering Intern

ALO is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to join our team at the intersection of retail operations, customer experience, and data engineering. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of data pipelines that support our retail and digital ecosystems. Interns will work 40 hours per week at our Beverly Hills headquarters or San Ramon, CA office from June 8th to July 31st.

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will build and optimize data pipelines for retail, inventory, and customer data, primarily utilizing AWS tools. Responsibilities include integrating and cleaning data from various internal and third-party sources, supporting personalization and loyalty analytics initiatives, collaborating with Data Science and MarTech teams on customer intelligence projects, and enhancing data reliability for dashboards and models.

Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Strong skills in SQL and Python are required, along with experience in APIs, data ingestion, and transformation frameworks. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and performance tuning is also necessary.

The base pay range for this position is $45 to $50 per hour, with actual pay varying based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
