Data Engineer - Digital Assets

As a Data Engineer, you will join the core engineering team, contributing to the proprietary low-latency trading system. Your responsibilities will include acquiring market and trading data, implementing ETL processes, and collaborating with traders and researchers to enhance trading results. You will develop market and trading data pipeline systems in both batch and streaming modes, extend data pipelines to multiple exchanges and platforms, and work closely with other engineers and researchers to provide efficient data solutions for research and trading operations.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field. Industry experience in big data is a significant plus. Proficiency in data pipeline technologies such as Clickhouse, Flink, and Kafka is required, with experience in Kubernetes being advantageous. Strong programming skills in Java/Scala and Python are essential, with C++ experience considered a plus. Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in an international team are also necessary.
The position is based in IMC's office in Zug, Switzerland, and is primarily an onsite role with limited flexibility for remote work.
