Data Analyst - LATAM
Xometry is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Data Analyst to join our expanding team. This role will be crucial in optimizing our operations forecasting, from quoting, ordering, sourcing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in forecasting, advanced Excel modeling skills, and a proven ability to analyze large datasets to inform strategic decisions. The candidate should also be a self-starter and be able to influence senior management, guiding both strategy and day-to-day execution.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing robust demand forecasting models using historical data, market trends, and statistical analysis. The analyst will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with business objectives and monitor forecast accuracy, implementing corrective actions to minimize deviations. Additionally, the role involves extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets from various sources to identify trends and insights, developing and maintaining comprehensive supply chain reports and dashboards, and presenting key findings to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, focusing on forecasting and data analysis. Proven expertise in advanced Excel modeling and data manipulation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience working with large datasets and utilizing statistical analysis are essential. Excellent English communication and presentation skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software are also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with SQL or other database query languages, knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting techniques, experience in the manufacturing industry, and familiarity with supply chain optimization tools. Experience in the Indian manufacturing and logistics environment is also advantageous.
