Criminal Defense Virtual Assistant

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This remote role offers the opportunity to support our criminal defense attorneys by managing administrative tasks and ensuring seamless case progression. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining client communication, providing timely case updates, and preparing legal documents for trial. Your daily tasks will include managing court calendars, obtaining jury panels, issuing discovery to defense attorneys, and preparing subpoenas. Additionally, you will handle data entry, correspondence, and other administrative duties essential to trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in criminal defense, possess paralegal or legal experience, and be proficient in case management software. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base. Candidates should be based in Latin America (LATAM) and must submit their resume in English.
