Criminal Defense Associate Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Associate Attorney to join our Sacramento office. This role offers an opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, focusing on serious felony and federal cases, while collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys and paralegals.

Key responsibilities include advising clients on their legal rights, drafting legal documents, attending pretrial hearings, managing court appearances and trials, conducting legal research, analyzing case outcomes based on legal precedents, and preparing clients for testimony. The attorney will also be responsible for gathering additional evidence to support clients' cases and developing effective case strategies.

Candidates must have 7 to 15 years of criminal defense experience, with a preference for those with trial experience. Experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

The position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 annually, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
