Criminal Defense Attorney (Entry-level)

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking an Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career within a premier law firm known for its commitment to client-centered defense and professional growth.

As an Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing legal counsel to clients on their rights and drafting pertinent legal documents. Your responsibilities will include attending pretrial hearings, representing clients in court appearances and trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate degree and demonstrate a strong interest in criminal defense law through law school clinics, volunteer work, or internships. Active bar admission is required, though law graduates awaiting admission will also be considered. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative team spirit, and the ability to effectively manage a caseload are essential. While bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, it is not mandatory.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential adjustments based on experience.
