Criminal Defense Associate Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, A.P.C. is seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Associate Attorney to join our Los Angeles office. Reporting to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney, you will manage your own caseload and engage directly with clients.

In this position, you will advise clients on their legal rights, draft pertinent legal documents, and represent clients during pretrial hearings and court appearances. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing case outcomes based on legal precedents. Additionally, you will gather evidence to support clients' cases and prepare them for depositions, ensuring comprehensive case strategy development.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience handling criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional client service are essential. We value team players who are open to collaboration and strategic discussions with fellow associates.
