Axiom is seeking experienced corporate governance paralegals to join our team in Atlanta. This role involves working on temporary secondments with Fortune 100 clients, providing critical support to their legal departments. In this position, you will assist clients' legal teams by drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents, including board resolutions, bylaws, policies, and charters. Responsibilities also encompass conducting research and analyzing legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate governance and compliance. Additionally, you will maintain and update corporate records, such as board and committee minutes and shareholder records, and assist with the preparation and filing of corporate documents, including annual reports, proxy statements, and SEC filings.
Candidates should have over nine years of corporate governance experience as a paralegal in a large corporate in-house environment. A strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices, along with familiarity with corporate filings, SEC regulations, and compliance requirements, is essential. Proficiency in legal research tools, databases, and related software is required. Applicants should be open to working in an engagement-based role, seconded to clients on a temporary basis for approximately six months at a time.
Compensation for this role ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 per year, depending on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
