Compliance Manager
Engine is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team in the United States. This role is integral to ensuring that Engine's operations adhere to all relevant regulatory standards, particularly in the fintech and corporate travel sectors. As a remote position, it offers flexibility while contributing to a dynamic and innovative company culture.
In this role, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and executing compliance testing strategies, conducting quality control reviews, and documenting findings to maintain audit defensibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as the manager will assist with compliance reviews for new product launches, feature releases, and marketing campaigns across all product lines, including Engine X, Direct Bill, Travel, and Rewards. Additionally, the manager will oversee the governance of Engine's Compliance Management System (CMS), ensuring BSA/AML compliance, tracking regulatory changes, and maintaining policies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Providing exceptional support and insights to clients by quality-checking automated outputs and managing complaint trend reporting is also a key aspect of the role.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated financial services compliance. A strong understanding of BSA/AML, Regulation Z, UDAAP, and compliance testing/monitoring is required. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and possesses problem-solving skills. Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, SEON, or compliance automation technologies is advantageous. A collaborative mindset and readiness to take ownership in a lean team setting are essential.
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $72,300 to $100,000 USD, with opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and equity.
