Compliance & Employee Relations Specialist
The Compliance & Employee Relations Specialist at Wellhub will be a key member of the People team, reporting directly to the Director of Employee Relations. This role is central to upholding the company's commitment to integrity and ethical standards within its Brazilian operations. The specialist will collaborate closely with HR, Legal, and leadership teams to maintain and enhance the organization's culture and compliance framework.
Key responsibilities include conducting and leading internal investigations into potential policy violations, ethical concerns, and conflicts of interest, ensuring a fair and thorough process. The specialist will provide technical guidance on compliance cases, draft and revise internal policies to align with Brazilian labor legislation (CLT) and global corporate guidelines, and design and facilitate training programs focused on ethics, the Code of Conduct, and whistleblowing channels. Additionally, the role involves monitoring union-related matters and labor relations, collaborating with global compliance teams to implement process improvements, and leveraging AI tools and GRC technology to enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Law, HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with substantial experience in compliance or employee relations, particularly in internal investigations and labor relations. A deep understanding of Brazilian Labor Law (CLT) is essential, along with strong communication and training skills in English (Intermediate to Advanced). The role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, experience managing sensitive cases via GRC tools or whistleblowing channels, and a tech-savvy approach to optimizing workflows.
