Community Marketing Intern
The Community Marketing Intern at ALO will support the execution of local and national community marketing initiatives aimed at deepening brand affinity and driving engagement. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about wellness, yoga, fitness culture, events, and social storytelling. The intern will work closely with the Community Marketing and Brand teams to cultivate authentic relationships with instructors, ambassadors, wellness studios, and cultural tastemakers.
Key responsibilities include assisting in managing relationships with local instructors, ambassadors, and wellness partners, supporting ambassador gifting, seeding, and tracking initiatives, and coordinating studio partnerships and community collaborations. The intern will also maintain and update community contact databases, support the planning and execution of community events, store openings, and wellness activations, and assist with event logistics such as guest lists, check-in, gifting, and recap reporting. Additionally, the role involves conducting research on local fitness studios, instructors, and cultural opportunities, identifying emerging creators and community leaders aligned with the brand, tracking and reporting community-driven social media engagement, gathering user-generated content and event recap materials, tracking KPIs related to ambassador engagement and event performance, preparing decks and recap presentations, and supporting cross-functional coordination with Retail, PR, and Social teams.
Candidates should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A strong interest in wellness, yoga, fitness, fashion, and community-building is essential. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and social media fluency (Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms) are required. The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and proficiency in Google Workspace are also necessary. Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
The compensation for this role is $25 per hour. The internship is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, and will be conducted on-site at ALO's Beverly Hills headquarters. The program is scheduled to begin on June 8th and conclude on July 31st.
