Communications Coordinator - maternity cover (10 months fixed terms)
The Communications Coordinator will support the Brand, Communications, and Public Affairs team in Italy at Clifford Chance, one of the world's largest international law firms with over 30 offices globally. This role involves assisting in the execution of the firm's global communications strategy within the region, working closely with the Head of Business Development, the General Manager, and other team members to enhance the firm's brand presence and thought leadership.
Key responsibilities include drafting and distributing press releases, intranet articles, and other internal and external communications materials utilizing the firm's AI tools. The role also involves managing and coordinating press work with local legal and national press, organizing client initiatives and events, and overseeing marketing initiatives such as strategic partnerships and sponsorships aligned with the firm's core sectors and products. Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate with global and regional communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and support digital and social media strategies to enhance engagement and reach in the region.
The ideal candidate should have experience in internal and external communications, preferably within the legal or professional services sector, along with experience in event and marketing management. Familiarity with digital communications tools and platforms, including AI, is essential, as the role requires using the firm's AI tools to draft communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English are required, with knowledge of Spanish considered a plus.
