Commercial Real Estate Attorney
Axiom is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its team in the New York metropolitan area. This role involves collaborating directly with Fortune 100 clients on complex real estate matters, providing strategic legal guidance, and contributing to high-profile projects. The primary responsibilities include advising corporate clients on commercial real estate issues, drafting and negotiating real estate finance documents, and supporting internal client teams. The attorney will also maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of legal strategies with business objectives.
Candidates should have over five years of significant transactional experience, preferably in an in-house environment, with expertise in real estate finance, leasing, acquisitions, and sales. Experience in leasing, purchases and sales, REITs, residential, property management, and landlord/tenant disputes is essential. Ideal candidates will have experience in industries such as retail, restaurant/hospitality, industrial, and energy. An active bar license in good standing in the state of residence is required.
