Axiom is seeking a Commercial Healthcare Transactions Counsel to support its medtech clients. This role focuses on providing legal support to medical device and digital health companies, particularly in sales-side commercial transactions involving technology-driven offerings, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). The position involves negotiating and structuring customer-facing agreements while advising on regulatory, privacy, and compliance considerations relevant to the healthcare and medtech sectors.

Key responsibilities include advising clients on sales-side commercial contracting and technology transactions, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer agreements such as SaaS and licensing arrangements, providing guidance on SaMD transactions, and advising on healthcare regulatory considerations impacting transactions, including the Anti-Kickback Statute.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting medical device and/or digital health companies, a strong background in sales-side technology transactions, familiarity with SaMD, knowledge of HIPAA and U.S. state privacy laws in a transactional context, and an understanding of healthcare compliance considerations, including the Anti-Kickback Statute. Experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) is a plus. An active license as an attorney in good standing in a U.S. state is required.

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. Employees may be eligible for additional benefits.
