As a Commercial Account Executive at Gong, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business accounts and acquiring new customers. You will own and manage the sales cycle to ensure Gong's growth within the commercial market. Once fully ramped, you'll have comprehensive knowledge of our technology and solid business-to-business sales skills.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing prospects from lead to close, clearly articulating and demonstrating our value proposition to create excitement among prospects, cultivating long-term relationships with customers, maintaining weekly sales forecasts, achieving quarterly quotas, and running and implementing 7 to 10-day pilot programs.

We are seeking candidates with 6 months to 1 year or more of relevant closing experience in the commercial sector. You should be located in either San Francisco or Chicago, as we operate on a hybrid working model, requiring three days a week in-office. Previous experience in SaaS and enterprise software, outbound prospecting, and a demonstrated success in achieving sales goals are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfort in selling to VP and C-Suite executives, and the ability to navigate multiple decision-makers in an organization are also required.
