Cloud Security Engineer

Onapsis is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. This role focuses on enhancing the security posture of our cloud platforms, ensuring the protection of business-critical applications for our global clientele. As part of our cybersecurity team, you will contribute to safeguarding applications that are essential to the global economy.

In this position, you will define and implement cloud security governance frameworks, ensuring consistent application of policies and controls across all cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing security architectures, deploying appropriate security tools, conducting vulnerability assessments, and collaborating with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to establish incident response plans and analyze security breaches. Additionally, you will develop and publish cloud security standards and provide training to employees on security awareness and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in establishing and implementing security best practices in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. Proficiency with cloud-native security tools, a solid understanding of network and security protocols, and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes are essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in English are also required.
