Senior Software Developer In Test - Java
Onapsis is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test with expertise in Java to join their cybersecurity team. This role involves collaborating with leadership, product management, engineering, and the Onapsis research team to design, implement, and execute test procedures that ensure software features function as intended. The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, and is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be commutable to the office.
In this role, you will focus on automation and advancing automation capabilities by designing, building, and utilizing test automation and build automation to ensure software meets business solution requirements. You will work collaboratively as part of a software engineering team aligned with cybersecurity researchers and product managers to iterate toward product definition and realization. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Architecture team to enhance the platform's maturity in terms of technologies, quality, and architecture design while advancing quality engineering processes to deliver high-quality products and services.
Candidates should have at least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in programming with Python, Java, or JavaScript. A Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience, is required. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium, tracking and testing tools, databases, ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate), and building automation tools like Ant and Maven is essential. Familiarity with testing and building automation for APIs (REST, GraphQL), developing in a Linux environment, and knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD tooling, and Agile methodologies are also important.
