Claims Specialist
Cowbell Cyber Inc. is seeking a Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cyber insurance claims, working closely with policyholders, brokers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and effective claims processing. Cowbell Cyber is a leading provider of cyber insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises, leveraging AI and data to offer adaptive coverage tailored to evolving cyber threats.
As a Claims Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include conducting coverage analysis, managing incident responses, evaluating claims, and maintaining accurate reserves. You will oversee the entire claims process from intake to resolution, ensuring timely and fair outcomes. Additionally, you will collaborate with defense and coverage counsel, handle reinsurance reporting, and participate in claim presentations to various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of claims handling experience, with at least one year focused on cyber claims. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is preferred. You must obtain and maintain the necessary adjuster licenses. Strong skills in coverage analysis, claim evaluation, and negotiation are essential, along with exceptional organizational and presentation abilities. Experience working collaboratively across teams is also important.
