Claims Review Attorney

Axiom is seeking experienced Claims Review Attorneys to join our legal team, providing support to Fortune 500 clients. This remote position is based in the Greater Toronto area and requires full professional fluency in French, enabling effective communication in both written and spoken contexts.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating claims to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies, contracts, and legal standards. You will analyze complex and legacy claims, including historical files that may be incomplete or technically challenging. Additionally, you will conduct detailed document reviews in both French and English, perform discovery-related tasks, execute privilege reviews, and assist with corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in corporate or commercial law in Canada, preferably in-house, with a strong understanding of corporate governance, incorporations, and statutory filings. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. A keen attention to detail and the capacity to handle sensitive subject matters are also crucial for success in this position.
