In this role, the Channel Sales Engineer acts as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process, participating in presentations and demonstrations for partners and customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing pre-sales technical support, managing proof of concept deployments, responding to technical inquiries, and delivering detailed product training. The role also involves identifying partner needs, resolving product issues, and supporting channel partners in building out their cybersecurity offerings using KnowBe4’s solutions.
Candidates should have direct experience in pre-sales engineering or technical consulting, ideally within the cybersecurity or software sales domain. A strong knowledge of network security, email systems, and relevant security protocols is essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and travel as needed to partner and customer sites. Familiarity with SaaS platforms and a knowledge of the channel partner ecosystem are highly desirable.
