Account Executive - MM (Fluent in German) (Position located in Utrecht, Netherlands)
The Account Executive (Mid-Market) position at KnowBe4 is based in Utrecht, Netherlands, and focuses on acquiring new clients within the mid-market business segment. In this role, the Account Executive is responsible for identifying and acquiring new mid-market accounts to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas. This involves creating opportunities through various prospecting methods, following up on inbound leads, and reigniting open, outstanding customer opportunities. The position also requires building and maintaining a pipeline of business opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, and articulating the value proposition of KnowBe4's full suite of products.
Key responsibilities include understanding an organization's buying needs, identifying key decision-makers, and addressing potential roadblocks to shorten sales cycles. The Account Executive is expected to act strategically in offering subscription levels, multi-year deals, and negotiating discounted pricing to increase annual recurring revenue. Maintaining accurate records of daily sales statistics via Salesforce and collaborating with assigned Channel Sales Representatives to close new logos through partner business channels are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience selling to mid-market-sized businesses and a bachelor's degree or higher education equivalent is desirable. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT, security, or cybersecurity industry is advantageous. Proficiency in Salesforce, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office, and web browsers is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a stats-driven approach, motivation, energy, and strong collaborative and teamwork skills are essential. The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and be fluent in German.
