Cash Staff Accountant
Datavant is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Cash Accountant to support our high-volume cash operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of cash application, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple revenue streams and systems. You will work cross-functionally with the Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable teams to streamline processes, improve automation, and maintain strong internal controls in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment.
Key responsibilities include performing daily cash postings across multiple bank accounts and entities, monitoring cash balances to identify discrepancies or unusual transactions, and supporting Treasury with daily cash position reporting and liquidity insights. You will also perform high-volume daily and monthly bank reconciliations across over 40 accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and manage large datasets of transactions across multiple systems, ensuring completeness and integrity of cash postings.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in cash accounting or accounts receivable within a high-volume and multi-entity environment. Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and experience with payment processors for cash receipts and accounts payable systems, preferably Coupa, are essential. Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and experience with automation tools or system integrations are also desired.
