Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join their team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves working closely with attorneys and clients to manage a diverse caseload, ensuring efficient case progression and client satisfaction. The Case Manager will be an integral part of the firm's mission to protect the rights of individuals against powerful entities.
Key responsibilities include daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person communications. The Case Manager will order medical records from providers, communicate with clients and providers during treatment, and obtain necessary documents to support injury and liability positions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintaining organized case files, and preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, with at least two years of experience as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Excellent writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are also required.
This on-site position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 USD. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
