Case Manager in Training
The Case Manager in Training position at Morgan & Morgan offers an opportunity to join a dynamic legal team dedicated to advocating for consumer rights. This role involves managing the law firm's daily operations, providing administrative support, and assisting attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. Key responsibilities include organizing, filing, and maintaining client files, some of which may exceed 100 cases. The role also involves processing check requests for medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership documents. Additional duties encompass copying documents and demand packages, handling certified mail, performing general office tasks such as typing and sorting mail, creating client folders, preparing and sending various correspondence, and dispatching demand letters. Other related tasks may be assigned to meet business needs.
Preferred qualifications include an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous. While one year of experience in the legal field is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates should have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including word processing and file management. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with minimal supervision is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, high organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute, are also required.
