Business Development Representative (SBM)
The Business Development Representative (SBM) at Wellhub is a pivotal role within the SMB Client Sales team, based in Paris. As Wellhub expands into France, this position offers the unique opportunity to establish the company's presence in a new market. The role involves generating pipeline, engaging HR leaders, and contributing to the development of local sales strategies and go-to-market approaches.
Key responsibilities include identifying and mapping a high-volume pipeline of French SMB prospects, engaging CEOs and HR leads to build the market from the ground up. The representative will lead outbound activities such as cold calling, emailing, and social selling to generate and qualify new opportunities. Additionally, they will qualify and convert inbound inquiries, collaborate with the sales team to test innovative prospecting methods, and drive the strategic positioning of Wellhub in France.
The ideal candidate has over one year of experience in business development, high-velocity sales, or client-facing roles, preferably in a startup or new market environment. Fluency in French at a native level and proficiency in English are required. The candidate should be motivated by targets, proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is advantageous.
