Business Development Manager - U.S. Real Estate and Global Infrastructure
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic objectives and growth of Cleary Gottlieb's U.S. Real Estate practice and the firm's global Infrastructure initiative. This hybrid position bridges U.S. practice-level business development with global client and market strategies, reflecting the firm's commitment to integrated, cross-practice collaboration. The role reports to both the Senior Real Estate Business Development Manager and the Clients & Markets Associate Director, ensuring alignment with the firm's broader business development goals.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of relevant business development experience in a professional services firm, with at least two years focused on real estate or infrastructure-related legal marketing. A strong understanding of real estate and infrastructure terminology, deal types, and market dynamics is essential. The role requires a motivated team player capable of serving as the independent business development point person for partners, with exceptional time and project management skills, proven experience in writing pitches and proposals, and a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with CRM or matter tracking tools is advantageous.
