Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is seeking a detail-oriented E-Billing Specialist to join our finance team in New York. This role reports directly to the E-Billing Manager and is integral to managing the firm's electronic billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our diverse client base. As a global law firm with approximately 1,100 lawyers across 14 offices worldwide, we are committed to delivering exceptional legal services through a collaborative and integrated approach.

The E-Billing Specialist will be responsible for submitting and coordinating client invoices and e-bills through various client and third-party eBilling platforms. Key duties include reviewing and submitting timekeeper information and billing rates, monitoring e-bill statuses to ensure successful processing and prompt payment, and assisting with configuration mappings within the BillBlast system. Additionally, the role involves reviewing e-bills for compliance with client and vendor terms, processing necessary corrections, and collaborating with the Global Pricing Operations team to analyze and submit timekeepers and rates for client approval.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of relevant corporate experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment. Proficiency in eBilling platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Tymetrix360, CounselGo, Collaborati, BillingPoint, Brightflag, and Collaboration Portal is required. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions, are essential. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Flexibility to work evenings to meet deadlines is also necessary.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000, with the actual salary dependent on various job-related factors, including skills, education, experience, and performance.
