The Business Development Executive, Supplier Sales, is a dynamic sales role focused on engaging and onboarding new suppliers to the Xometry platform. This position sits within the Supplier Sales team and plays a key part in Xometry’s mission to grow its marketplace for on-demand manufacturing solutions. As a rapidly expanding technology company, Xometry provides AI-powered access to manufacturing capacity, serving customers and suppliers across diverse industries such as aerospace, automotive, and healthcare.

In this role, the executive is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting new suppliers through outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings. Day-to-day activities include managing a pipeline of prospects, presenting the Xometry value proposition, qualifying leads, and closing deals to expand the supplier network. Regular collaboration with sales leadership and cross-functional teams ensures continuous improvement of sales strategies and process optimization.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Familiarity with CRM software and a data-driven approach to sales are important for success in this role.
