Business Development Executive, Supplier Sales
As a Business Development Executive at Xometry, you will collaborate with North American manufacturing companies to understand their needs, develop strategies to generate new opportunities, and drive business growth. In this role, your primary responsibilities include identifying and targeting new accounts for acquisition, educating prospects on solutions, managing contracts to meet or exceed sales quotas, and ensuring a seamless transition of new accounts to account management teams. You will also be expected to research and engage key decision-makers, maintain proactive communication with clients, utilize Salesforce CRM for project tracking, and deliver compelling product demonstrations to close sales.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have 5-8+ years of experience in a strategic business development role with closing experience, preferably in B2B sales. A proven track record in prospecting, a self-starter mindset, strong project and time management skills, and proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce are essential. Familiarity with tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms is also required.
Xometry offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually, plus commission.
