Brand Protection Manager, APAC
The Brand Protection Manager at ALO is responsible for safeguarding the brand by identifying and removing counterfeit and unauthorized products across both online and offline markets in the APAC region. This role requires close collaboration with domestic and global partners and a strong understanding of regional enforcement environments. The position is based in Shanghai, with regular travel required.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary APAC liaison for the Global Brand Protection team, supporting global initiatives and regional projects. The manager will manage strategic relationships with relevant authorities such as Customs, MSA, and PSB, as well as online marketplaces in the region to facilitate successful risk analysis and enforcement. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and responding to unauthorized resale of ALO products, conducting investigations, and initiating relevant civil and criminal actions.
Candidates should have over 8 years of full-time experience in anti-counterfeiting enforcement and brand protection. A strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including civil and criminal frameworks, trademark strategy, prosecution, and use requirements, is essential. Proven experience working with law enforcement, customs, investigators, agencies, and law firms is required. Familiarity with APAC online platforms and social media ecosystems, fluency in English, and effectiveness in cross-cultural, global team environments are also necessary. The role demands a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable individual willing to work flexible hours. Applicants must be currently based in Shanghai or Hong Kong.
