Bookkeeper
Ashby Jones and Associates LLC, a reputable law firm based in South Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to enhance our financial operations. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate transaction records, proper coding, and managing journal entries using QuickBooks Online. Key duties encompass handling client trust deposits and disbursements, performing three-way reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with IOLTA regulations. Additional responsibilities include conducting bank and credit card reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly financial statements, and supporting tax and regulatory filings.
Candidates should possess experience with bookkeeping and financial management software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books, demonstrating strong attention to accuracy and detail. Mastery in trust accounting, including three-way reconciliations and knowledge of IOLTA compliance standards, is essential. The role requires excellent attention to detail, professional communication skills for interactions with various stakeholders, and strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
