Billing Manager
Celonis is seeking a Billing Manager to lead our billing team within the Financial Shared Service Hub, managing complex invoicing processes across multiple billing entities. This role is pivotal in connecting executed contracts to revenue realization and standardizing order-to-cash workflows for accurate financial reporting. The Billing Manager will also drive system improvements in our billing tools and ERP platform, supporting the team with operational escalations.
Key responsibilities include managing the billing team and leading projects to enhance billing process efficiencies. The role involves supervising daily bill runs, reviewing and approving draft invoices for significant deals, and defining daily priorities for the billing team. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Deal Desk, FinOps, and Collections is essential to ensure seamless order-to-cash workflows. The Billing Manager will also build reports to monitor billing accuracy, troubleshoot escalations, and support audits by maintaining compliance and data integrity.
The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with over four years of experience in billing, order-to-cash, or financial operations roles. Proficiency in billing and enterprise platforms like Zuora Billing, Salesforce, and Workday is required. The role demands decisiveness under pressure, strong negotiation skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and excellent business communication abilities in English.
