Billing Co-ordinator

Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a Billing Co-ordinator to join their London office on a fixed-term contract until July 2026. This role is integral to the firm's finance team, supporting the billing process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for clients.

The Billing Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing work in progress for specific clients, assisting partners and the billing team in drafting and issuing bills. Key duties include preparing and finalising bills, ensuring compliance with client agreements, updating billing information in the firm's systems, and liaising with partners, fee earners, and practice assistants. The role also involves monitoring billing targets, producing periodic reports, and addressing ad-hoc queries.

Ideal candidates should have previous experience in a billing or revenue team, preferably within a professional services environment. Proficiency in global professional services practice management systems (such as Keystone, Elite, CMS, or SAP), along with strong skills in Excel and Word, is essential. A good understanding of financial processes underpinning billing activities and the ability to apply these when dealing with partners and clients is also required.
