As a B2B Credit Policy Specialist at Wellhub, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategies within the Financial Solutions New Ventures team based in São Paulo, Brazil. In this strategic and analytical role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing policies for granting, maintaining, and expanding B2B credit limits. Your day-to-day activities will include monitoring key performance indicators such as delinquency rates, bad debt, and payment behaviors across the active portfolio. Additionally, you will conduct studies to define pricing strategies, calibrating commercial conditions based on risk levels to ensure a balance between competitiveness and contribution margin. Collaborating with the Data team, you will develop credit scoring and behavior scoring models tailored to Wellhub's business model, and act as an internal consultant for Sales and Customer Success teams to balance portfolio growth with financial health.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. A proven track record in B2B Credit Risk, particularly in developing credit policies, limit management, and risk-based pricing, is essential. Proficiency in advanced SQL for data extraction and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker are required, with knowledge of Python or R considered a strong plus. Hands-on experience in building or calibrating automated decision engines and credit scoring models is crucial. A deep understanding of corporate financial statements, especially within the SME segment and SaaS/recurring revenue models, is necessary. Familiarity with credit bureaus and the Brazilian financial regulatory landscape, along with strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments, are also important. Advanced English proficiency is required for global collaboration.
