Attorney - Labor & Employment
Continental is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney to provide strategic legal counsel to business leaders, HR, and operations across its extensive U.S. and Canada workforce, encompassing corporate, manufacturing (non-union), and field sales sectors. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with employment laws and mitigating workplace risks within a global industry leader known for its innovative tire solutions.
The attorney will collaborate closely with HR and leadership to manage litigation and agency matters, support labor relations activities, and develop positive employee relations strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing employment and general litigation, policy development, conducting investigations, resolving disputes, and managing outside counsel.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state. A minimum of 7 years of related employment law experience, particularly with multi-state employers, is required. Demonstrated experience in litigation and agency charge management is essential. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory, and a relocation package is available if needed.
