Associate Product Counsel
As an Associate Product Counsel at Dropbox, you will be an integral part of the Legal, Policy, Trust & Privacy Team, which is dedicated to enabling innovation while safeguarding users, the platform, and the business. This team addresses complex challenges at the intersection of technology and law, ensuring compliance and integrity across all operations.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide legal guidance throughout the product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include assessing legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and drafting and negotiating agreements related to product initiatives. Additionally, you will monitor and interpret evolving legal landscapes to advise on potential impacts to Dropbox's products and services.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar. A minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology or internet companies, is required. Strong knowledge of privacy laws, intellectual property, and consumer protection regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also critical.
