Associate Legal Counsel
The Associate Legal Counsel at Fictiv will provide comprehensive legal support across various corporate and commercial matters, including contract negotiation, management, and regulatory compliance. This role is integral to mitigating legal risks while aligning with the company's business and operational objectives. Fictiv is a global manufacturing and supply chain company that enables organizations to scale across its four global manufacturing centers in India, Mexico, China, and the U.S., delivering over 35 million parts to industries such as aerospace, robotics, automotive, and climate tech.
Key responsibilities include advising on legal issues related to company business practices, reviewing, drafting, and assisting in the negotiation of various contracts and agreements, and developing corporate policies and standard operating procedures. The Associate Legal Counsel will also assist with regulatory compliance issues, review and update confidentiality agreements, develop legal training materials, and support the maintenance of executed agreements and other corporate documents.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate and be a licensed attorney in good standing to practice law in the United States. While previous legal experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are required. Proficiency in Spanish or Japanese and experience living in Japan or working with Japanese companies are considered a plus.
This position offers the flexibility of being 100% remote, with a preference for candidates who can work at least one day a week from one of Fictiv's facilities located in Schaumburg, IL; Dayton, OH; Fraser, MI; Bellaire, MI; or Queretaro, Mexico. The role may require up to 5% annual global travel for meetings and conferences.
