The Associate Account Executive (AAE) at GumGum is an entry-level to early-career sales role designed to train future Account Executives. This position functions as an apprentice to senior sellers, supporting the sales team in prospecting, pitch development, account coverage, and day-to-day sales activities. While not a quota-carrying role, the AAE plays an active part in the selling process and gains direct exposure to clients, agencies, and the full sales motion. The primary objective is sales training and readiness, while meaningfully increasing the productivity of the sales team.

Key responsibilities include supporting Account Executives in developing sales proposals, decks, and client presentations. The AAE assists with prospecting and account research across assigned lists, helps prepare for RFPs, upfront conversations, and scatter opportunities, and tracks and organizes sales materials, follow-ups, and meeting notes. Additionally, the role provides continuity and coverage for account lists during Account Executive absences, maintains communication with agencies and clients as directed by the sales team, and supports active accounts by responding to basic inquiries and routing requests appropriately.

The ideal candidate is an early-career professional with a strong interest in media sales. A bachelor's degree is preferred. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfort in interacting with clients and agencies is essential.

GumGum offers a competitive base pay as part of a total rewards package, which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from $63,000 to $73,000 annually.
