Area Vice President, Business and Market Development – Supply Chain & Logistics
As the Area Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics at LVT, you will lead the company's expansion into the global movement of goods. This high-impact, individual contributor role involves acting as the strategic expert, leveraging a deep background in physical security operations to address complex protection challenges inherent in global transit. You will collaborate closely with sales teams to identify, influence, and close high-value deals by translating LVT's hardware and AI capabilities into comprehensive security and loss-prevention solutions. Additionally, you will define the go-to-market strategy that positions LVT's AI-driven intelligence as the gold standard for Rail Operators, Port Authorities, and 3PL giants. This role offers flexibility to be based out of LVT's Headquarters in American Fork, Utah, or remotely within the United States, with regular travel to meet with prospects and customers across the country.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing a comprehensive go-to-market framework tailored to the nuances of Supply Chain and Logistics. You will act as the subject matter expert for the Go-To-Market team, providing the industry depth required to qualify opportunities and accelerate the sales cycle. Partnering directly with sales representatives on key accounts, you will deliver compelling, vertical-specific value propositions that drive revenue growth. Serving as the "Face of LVT" within the industry, you will leverage an elite network of contacts across Class I Railroads, Port Authorities, and 3PL leaders. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to ensure the company's roadmap addresses the high-stakes operational and safety needs of logistics hubs. Monitoring industry trends, competitive movements, and customer feedback will be essential to refine LVT’s competitive advantage. Field leadership is also a critical component, with travel estimated at 15-30% to engage stakeholders and oversee critical site deployments.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of global supply chains, intermodal transport, and the unique security and operational challenges of ports and rail. A proven track record of influencing complex, six-figure enterprise deals through deep industry credibility and technical fluency is essential. Exceptional communication skills are required to translate complex AI and hardware capabilities into clear ROI for C-suite executives and operational leads. The candidate should be data-driven, using market research and sales metrics to identify high-growth segments and optimize vertical strategies. Excellence in working in a matrixed environment, seamlessly collaborating with sales reps, and the ability to thrive in high-growth environments with the mindset to pivot strategies quickly as market conditions or customer needs evolve are also important. A results-oriented approach, driven by KPIs and revenue targets, with a natural inclination toward accountability and course-correcting based on performance data, is expected.
The annual salary range for this role is $168,000.00 - $224,000.00 USD, determined by location, job-related experience, and education/training.
