Applied (AI) Engineer (Value Engineering)

As an Applied AI Engineer at Celonis, you will collaborate with strategic customers to understand their objectives and challenges, developing solutions using our Process Intelligence platform integrated with leading AI technologies. This role is pivotal in helping clients industrialize AI deployments, ensuring tangible returns on investment.

Your primary responsibilities include identifying and framing value by discovering and translating customers' strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases. You will build demos and business cases, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers. Additionally, you will undertake Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.

To excel in this role, you should have 3+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales, including defining AI roadmaps, building compelling ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions. A strong understanding of generative AI techniques and business processes across sectors, along with proficiency in Python and common ML libraries, is essential. Excellent presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders are also required.
