AI Quality Engineering Lead
StarCompliance is seeking an experienced AI Quality Engineering Lead to drive modern, automation-first quality engineering across our global engineering organization. This role focuses on AI-assisted testing, agentic engineering, automation strategy, performance validation, and release confidence across cloud-native and legacy platforms. The successful candidate will partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Product, and Release Management teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and enable scalable, continuous delivery.
Key responsibilities include leading the adoption of AI-assisted testing tools and agentic engineering workflows, designing and implementing autonomous and semi-autonomous testing agents, and developing best practices for AI-generated testing and intelligent validation. The role also involves owning the release quality strategy across products and services, building scalable end-to-end, integration, and regression testing approaches, and improving release confidence through automation and quality intelligence. Additionally, the AI Quality Engineering Lead will define and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing strategies, validate reliability across distributed environments, and identify bottlenecks to support engineering teams in improving platform resilience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, or SDET disciplines, with hands-on experience in automation frameworks and modern CI/CD pipelines. Experience implementing AI-assisted development or testing workflows, knowledge of agentic systems or AI-driven automation, and a strong understanding of performance and scalability testing are essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills are also required.
